Standard Service – £35 Excluding Parts

The Standard Service is simply GEARS, BRAKES & TYRES, however I will highlight any obvious problems that would not normally be part of the Standard Service. I will also advise you of the cost of any parts that need replacing prior to their purchase &/or fitting. This price will be added to the Standard Service.

• Check & adjust gears
• Check & adjust brakes; if hydraulic brakes require bleeding, this will be an extra £10 per caliper
• Check and inflate tyres to the correct pressure

Mid Service – £60 Excluding Parts

In the Mid Service the moving parts that are normally looked at in the Standard Service are thoroughly cleaned, lubricated & trued. Other parts are checked externally along with the bike being taken on a test ride, when applicable. The work carried out comes with a six month warranty on the work and any new parts fitted have a manufacturer’s one year warranty.

• Check & adjust gears including cleaning & lubricating the drive train
• Check & adjust brakes & lubricate the cables; extra £10 per caliper for bleeding hydraulic brakes
• Check and inflate tyres to the correct pressure
• Check and true wheels, any new spokes extra
• Externally adjust headset and bottom bracket

Total Service – £90 Excluding Parts

Before any parts are removed, their position on the bike is documented with photos & dimensions to enable an accurate re-build. Also, all parts have an initial ‘in working order’ check before disassembly begins. Once broken down every part is thoroughly cleaned, checked & lubricated or greased before being refitted. New cables, bearings and brake pads are fitted at an extra cost if required.

As Mid Service, plus

• Complete dismantle, clean, lubricate & rebuild
• Additional costs for hydraulic brake & suspension forks breakdown (see repairs quotes)
